Equal Justice, Inc. is committed to those affected by the collapse of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIRoA).

Members of the Equal Justice staff deployed to Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. We fought alongside hundreds of Afghans who put their lives on the line to create a democratic republic for themselves and their families. The failure of the GIRoA, the United States, and NATO in those efforts is one of the greatest political tragedies of our lifetimes.

But the mission isn’t over. If we cannot give those brave Afghans a stable government of their own, the next best thing is to weave those freedom-loving people into the tapestry of the United States: the greatest democracy experiment in human history. EJI provides legal assistance to Afghans seeking permanent residence and citizenship in the United States, fair and affordable housing, education, and the right to work and participate in civic affairs.

We cannot promise to respond to everyone. Please do not rely on a response from Equal Justice, Inc.

However, we do seek to help as many people as we can. If you are an Afghan who escaped to the United States or an Afghan entitled to a Special Immigrant Visa, please complete the following form. Again, we do not have the resources to address the needs of every Afghan refugee, nor the ability to address all of your needs, but we will help where we can.
